Two Newcastles is a production by Curious Monkey that brings together performers from Newcastle in South Africa and the UK. This film documents the early stages of the project and the first meeting of the theatre-makers.

 

From the UK theatre company who brought you the award winning Mamela and top Kwa Zulu Natal theatre-makers, NADO, we present a brand new piece of international theatre, Two Newcastles.

This piece will connect the two places in the world through the stories of the people who live there, the traditions and songs they hold dear. It will explore the connecting and contrasting experiences of everyday life.
