Synopsis: Ger, an ageing, punk rocker returns to his hometown of Birr in order to get his band, the Kill Cormacs, back together for one last gig.

​Directors' Statement: Dead Beat was originally created as part of OFFline Film Festival's 57hr Filmmaking Challenge. It won the competition by a unanimous jury, winning a guaranteed slot at the prestigious Galway Film Fleadh.

Dead Beat touches upon issues of friendship, getting old and what it means to be truly punk.
